Office Administrator
Pat joined the team at Personal Choice Funeral Directors in January 2023 and is the office administrator based at our Mount Charles office in St Austell. Pat is married to Steve, who joined the team in May 2023.
Pat has over 15 years of administration experience within the funeral business, including arranging funerals and enjoys being able to advise families of their options for their loved one’s funeral.
Funeral Director
Steve joined the team at Personal Choice Funerals in May 2023 and is based at our Mount Charles office in St Austell. Steve has over 25 years experience working within the funeral business, serving the families of St Austell and the surrounding communities with understanding, empathy and compassion. He is married and has 2 grown up children.
Steve’s vast knowledge of the industry was re-enforced when he completed his Diploma in Funeral Directing in 2011. He loves to sit with families and guide them through one of the most difficult times of their lives. He is calm and caring and will always strive to ensure that families requests are met to the highest standard.
Funeral Director
Martyn is a family man with amazing children. Since joining in 2012, Martyn has developed into a knowledgeable Funeral Director ensuring the same philosophy as the creators of Personal Choice Funerals.
Having experience of arranging simple, diverse and complicated services, all with a caring, calm and assured manner. Martyn enjoys the variety of beliefs, relationships, cultures and requirements that emerge when caring for a family and their loss. Martyn never tires of meeting families and guiding them through the arrangements, the planning of their loved ones service, making sure their family member is cared for in the highest manner, listening and ensuring all wishes are met during the most upsetting and delicate time of a families life.
With a warm, kind, approachable personality, Martyn will put families at ease and will always endeavour to complete all family wishes and be a listening ear for anyone to the highest standard.
Funeral Arranger
Mellissa started within the funeral business 2022 and joined Personal Choice Funerals December 2024 supporting Ken and the team and is based at our Par Office.
Prior to this Mellissa worked with the care sector as a care co-ordinator for the frailty team in a group of local GP practices.
Mellissa is passionate about every aspect of the funeral industry and looking after families in their time of need, ensuring that their wishes are carried out to the highest standards.
